I graduated from UCLA and earned both my Masters in Psychology and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University (accredited by the American Psychological Association). I completed a full-time predoctoral internship at Childrens Hospital – Los Angeles, an APA-accredited program affiliated with USC’s Keck School of Medicine, and my post-doctoral training at the Child and Family Guidance Clinic in Northridge.
Then I spent several years in private practice in São Paulo, Brazil, where I worked primarily with the English-speaking expat community. (My wife and I had moved to São Paulo to be near her family. We returned to So Cal in 2015 with our son, who is now a teen himself.)
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy photography, playing tennis and chess, going out to the movies, and spending time with my family, which includes my wife and son and our Boston Terrier, Nina.
